FUJI DIE Co., Ltd. received "20th Machine Parts and Tooling Industries Technology Awards:
encouraging prize" in FY2014.

(at Main Hall, Kikai Shinko Kaikan: 3-5-8, Shibakoen, Minato Ward, Tokyo).

The machine parts and tooling industries, including the foundry, forging, metal stamping and mold making
industries, play an important role for supplying materials to downstream industries in which such materials
are shaped and processed, such as the automobile, industrial machinery, electrical communication device,
and other sectors. They are indispensable for supporting the foundation of Japan’s manufacturing
(monodzukuri) industry.

In 1995, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) designated each November as “Machine Parts
and Tooling Industries Month,” aiming to broadly raise public awareness of the importance of the machine
parts and tooling industries, which are indispensable industries for people’s lives and industrial activities,
and to revitalize the industries.
Since then, METI has been intensively conducting events for these purposes during this month.
